Walk-up flats and small strata buildings are common across the East. Their gutters are often on the second or third storey with no easy way up. Our job report gives the strata manager or committee photos and video of each run, which is useful for their records.

Strong coastal storms can strip a lot of leaves and twigs from fig trees and street trees in one night. If you have box gutters, it is worth having them checked after a big blow, before the next heavy rain arrives.

What is a rainhead and why does it need checking?
A rainhead is the open box where a box gutter drains into the downpipe. Leaves collect in it and block the flow. When it blocks, water backs up into the box gutter and can overflow into the ceiling.
Can you provide a report our strata committee can use?
Yes. Every job comes with a photo and video report showing each gutter before and after, plus anything we noticed, such as damaged sections or blocked outlets. You can forward it straight to the committee.
Do you clean gutters on three-storey walk-up blocks?
Often, yes. Access is the main question, so tell us the number of storeys and send a photo when you ask for a quote. If we cannot set up safe access, we will say so up front.
