Plane trees and jacarandas
London plane trees shade many Inner West streets. Their big leaves and fluffy seed balls pack into gutters and downpipes in autumn and winter. Jacarandas drop purple flowers in late spring, which turn to sludge when wet. Homes under these trees often need more than one clean a year.
Terraces, semis and box gutters
Many homes share walls with the house next door. Roofs are often iron or slate, with box gutters and valleys that can overflow into the ceiling if blocked. Balmain, Annandale and Haberfield also have heritage conservation areas. We take care with old roofs, trims and paint.
Pigeons in dense streets

Can you clean gutters on a two-storey terrace?
Yes. We use safe access gear suited to tall, narrow homes. If the roof is too steep, fragile or unsafe, we will tell you and talk through other options before any work starts.
Do you also clean downpipes blocked with plane tree seeds?
Yes. We check downpipes as part of a gutter clean and clear blockages we can reach. If a downpipe is blocked underground, we will let you know, as that may need a plumber.
How do you stop pigeons without hurting them?
We use exclusion only. That means mesh around solar panels and blocking gaps so birds cannot get in. We do not trap or kill birds. We also check for native birds first, as they are protected.
